Braga - The City of the Archbishops
The city has his roots from the ancient roman empire, occupying a prominent place in this area of the Iberian peninsula. From the times it was designated as “Bracara Augusta”, the city is has grown to become the 3rd biggest in Portugal. Deeply connected to the catholic religion, is probably one of the most crowded in religious monuments. Braga has in fact one of the most beautiful and ancient monuments in Portugal – The Sé Cathedral of Braga.
